New England Toile, One of My Favorites...

I find myself spending time at home this particular week straightening drawers and organizing dishes and china. (Most of my dishes are in deep drawers in my cabinets.) This is one of my favorite sets.

This set has several different size bowls, cups, mugs and serving pieces that make it very versatile and it goes right in the dishwasher. No hand washing necessary.

I find it perfect for spring and summer and it looks so attractive at Christmas with red napkins and plaid placemats.

The anniversary edition blue Ball jars and the lemons just speak {SPRING} to me and work perfectly with the black and white pattern.

I originally purchased this set of dishes at a pottery shop in Atlanta about 25 years ago. It has since been discontinued and is now available only at replacements.com. It is by Tabletops Unlimited and the pattern is New England Toile. There are two patterns; “People” and “Gamebirds.” We set the library table [See Blog Post: My Happy Place, The Library Table] for this early dinner so we could enjoy the sunny view out to the covered porch.
