Let me introduce myself
Hi Friends, I'm Amy Montgomery. For many years, I welcomed friends and customers into Amy Montgomery Home in Columbia, Tennessee - a shop filled with pieces I loved for entertaining and creating a beautiful home. What began as a small retail space quickly became something more: a gathering place where people lingered, shared stories, and found inspiration.
Interior design has been at the heart of my work for more than three decades. After focusing on the shop for several years, I’ve returned to my roots in design, helping clients create spaces that feel warm, thoughtful, and welcoming.
In this new season of life, I’ve learned to savor the small things. Dressing with intention, preparing a well-crafted meal, spending time with my wonderful community, and making my weekly runs to Trader Joe’s. Balance matters to me now more than ever. Life is about presence: showing up with clarity, confidence, and gratitude. It’s about honoring the past while embracing what’s ahead. There’s freedom in starting again, and power in knowing who you are.
Today, I continue to share my love for interiors, entertaining, and flowers through design consultations, small gatherings, and creative projects.
My goal has always been simple: to help people create homes that feel meaningful, lived-in, and beautifully their own.
