Set The Table & Set The Mood
Sometimes how you set the table for guests or your family is more important than what you actually serve to eat.
It’s like sending a fancy invitation, it sets the mood.
Or, if you send a fun light-hearted invitation, it reflects the tone of the event.
A beautiful stemmed wine glass, a few candles (unscented of course), a cloth napkin and some collected shells set the mood for an elevated casual dinner.
This particular evening a few moms from my son’s middle school were joining me. We enjoyed an easy fare of poppy seed chicken, English peas with mushrooms and French bread. A simple dinner, but they raved about the evening for weeks.
Our eyes love a visual feast!
